This website is operated by Toongabbie Doctors, Tenancy A (Shop 1), 56–60 Aurelia Street, Toongabbie NSW 2146. By using this website you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site. We may update these terms from time to time, and the version published here is the one that applies.

Health information is general only

The articles, service pages and other health information on this website are provided for general education. They are not advice about your individual situation, and they are not a substitute for a consultation, examination, diagnosis or treatment by a qualified health professional.

Health information also dates. Guidelines, Medicare arrangements and immunisation schedules change, and what is accurate on the day we publish may not be accurate later. Always check with your GP about what applies to you.

Appointments and bookings

Online bookings are handled through our third-party booking provider, HotDoc, under its own terms and privacy policy. Submitting a booking request does not create an appointment until it is confirmed.

Please choose an appointment type that reflects what you need. If you have more than one thing to raise, or you are not sure what to book, ring reception on (02) 7813 6000 and they will set aside the right amount of time.

Appointment availability, opening hours and the services we offer can change. We publish current information on this site, but the position at the time you contact reception is the one that applies.

Communicating with us

Email and web forms are not secure, and we cannot guarantee that a message sent to us will be received or read promptly. Please do not use them to send clinical details, test results, or anything time-critical. If you need to tell us something about your care, ring reception. If it cannot wait, use the emergency contacts above.

Acceptable use

You may use this website for lawful purposes only. In using it, you agree not to:

• Interfere with the operation or security of the site, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to it
• Use automated tools to scrape, harvest or republish its content
• Submit false information through a form or booking request
• Use the site or its content in a way that infringes the rights of others, or breaches any law

We may restrict or withdraw access to the site where we reasonably consider it necessary.

Availability and accuracy of this site

We take reasonable care to keep the information on this site current and accurate, but we do not warrant that it is complete, error-free or up to date at all times. We also do not warrant that the site will be available without interruption. Access may be unavailable during maintenance, or because of matters outside our control.

Intellectual property

The content, branding, photography and design of this website are owned by Toongabbie Doctors or used with permission, unless otherwise stated. Third-party marks, including the Medicare and MyMedicare marks, the HotDoc mark and the Toongabbie Dental Care mark, remain the property of their owners and are used for identification only.

You may view, download and print pages from this site for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may not reproduce, republish, adapt or distribute any part of it for any other purpose without our written permission.

Links to other sites

This website links to other sites, including government health services, our booking provider and similar, for your convenience. Those sites are not under our control. We are not responsible for their content, their accuracy or their privacy practices, and a link is not an endorsement.

Feedback and comments

We welcome feedback about the practice, and you can give it to reception, by phone or in writing. Feedback is used to improve the way we work.

We do not publish patient testimonials or reviews about clinical care on this website, and we do not ask patients for them. Section 133 of the Health Practitioner Regulation National Law (NSW) prohibits the use of testimonials in advertising a regulated health service.

If you would rather raise a concern with someone outside the practice, the Health Care Complaints Commission can be contacted on 1800 043 159 or at hccc.nsw.gov.au.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Toongabbie Doctors is not liable for any loss or damage, whether direct, indirect or consequential, arising from your use of, or reliance on, information on this website, or from the site being unavailable.

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or other law that cannot lawfully be excluded. Where our liability can be limited but not excluded, it is limited to resupplying the relevant service or paying the cost of having it resupplied.

How we collect, store, use and disclose your personal and health information is set out in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. You and Toongabbie Doctors submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
