Smit Patel

Musculoskeletal and spinal physiotherapy

Smit is a physiotherapist focusing on musculoskeletal and spinal conditions, sports and workplace injuries. He uses manual therapy, exercise rehabilitation and movement correction to address the cause of pain, and has experience in WorkCover rehabilitation, functional capacity evaluations and chronic pain management — with a focus on recovery, function and injury prevention.

His treatment approach includes individualised exercise rehabilitation and strengthening, manual therapy and joint mobilisation, sports taping and strapping, cupping therapy, functional and biomechanical assessment, postural correction and ergonomic advice, video-guided home exercise programs and long-term self-management.

Rutvik is a registered physiotherapist with experience providing evidence-based physiotherapy in aged care and community settings. He works with older adults to improve mobility, function and quality of life, with a focus on rehabilitation programs, musculoskeletal management and falls prevention.

Rutvik completed his Bachelor of Physiotherapy in 2021. Before practising in Australia he was registered with the Health and Care Professions Council in the United Kingdom and the Physiotherapy Board of New Zealand. He is a member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association and is committed to patient-centred care, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to support each patient’s goals.

Anagha is a graduate dietitian with a Master of Dietetics from Swinburne University of Technology. She is currently undertaking a sports dietetics internship with the GWS Giants, gaining hands-on experience in athlete nutrition and recovery.

Alongside her sports focus, she has experience across clinical and community settings and is passionate about helping patients achieve sustainable lifestyle changes through practical, evidence-based nutrition strategies. Outside of work, Anagha enjoys dancing, playing netball and oztag, and watching movies.

Francesca Palazzolo

Master of Counselling & Psychotherapy · PACFA clinical member

Francesca Palazzolo has a Master’s in Counselling & Psychotherapy and a Graduate Diploma in Counselling from the Australian College of Applied Psychology. She has worked as an Alcohol and Other Drugs counsellor, in youth mental health and as a psychotherapist in private practice.

She works therapeutically with individuals and family members of those struggling with addiction, mental health issues such as anxiety and depression, trauma and general life issues. She uses a variety of approaches in her clinical work including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance & Commitment Therapy, person-centred and existential humanistic approaches, and is a trained EMDR therapist. Francesca is a clinical member of PACFA and a registered clinical supervisor.

How referrals work.

You can book any allied health practitioner directly through reception or HotDoc. If you have a chronic condition, ask your GP about a management plan, which provides Medicare rebates for eligible visits. Your practitioner reports back to your GP so everyone is working from the same plan.

Who you can see.

Allied health appointments without a GP referral letter and care plan are payable privately. Medicare rebates apply where you bring a valid referral letter and care plan.

Allied health appointments without a GP referral letter and care plan are payable privately. A Medicare rebate is available when you bring a valid GP referral letter and care plan to your appointment. MyMedicare registration is required for management plans — check your eligibility with your GP.

GP appointments to prepare or review a management plan are bulk billed for Medicare card holders.
Student discounts are available on presentation of a valid school or university ID.
Francesca Palazzolo is a private counsellor registered with Victims Services. Private fees apply and counselling is not covered under bulk billing.
Private health insurance extras may cover physiotherapy, podiatry, dietetics and counselling; check with your fund.
WorkCover and CTP claims can be accepted by our physiotherapists; ask reception.

No. You can book physiotherapy, podiatry, the dietitian or counselling directly on HotDoc, online or by phone. Without a GP referral letter and care plan the appointment is payable privately; bring a valid referral letter and care plan and a Medicare rebate applies.

Eligible patients with a chronic condition management plan receive rebates for up to five allied health visits per calendar year, shared across the practitioners you see.
